Men’s jeans, a timeless classic
Is there anything quite as universal as a pair of jeans? For over a century, men everywhere have worn jeans, putting them with everything from a plain white tee to a sophisticated linen shirt, even the classic turtle-neck pullover. They really do go with everything, even more so now there’s a vast range of different cuts and styles available.
So which jeans do you need, and how do you choose the right ones?
Back in the day, jeans came in blue and that was that. They might have been dark or light, new or faded, but they were always blue. And while most still are, grey
and black jeans have started to replace them as men’s go-to colours. White, on the other hand, is a little more unusual; it’s more difficult to pull off and is more suitable for the summer. As for the fit, there are two main styles to choose from: slim and regular. Slim jeans are great for smaller frames and give you more of a modern look, while straight-cut models are ideal if you’ve got a fuller build.
All jeans are alike? Well, not quite…
Men’s jeans are all made from the same stretch denim, but the thickness changes with the season. Most have a high, flat waistband and a zip or buttoned fly, and most have 5 riveted pockets – two at the side, two at the back and a little one for your coins. You can, however, choose a pair with a discreet touch of elastic at the sides to adapt to your body and offer you a little more comfort. But whatever you’re looking for, whether it’s the classic pale blue, something lighter for the summer or a thick black
pair for winter, you’ll find a full range of budget-friendly Atlas For Men jeans. And of course, we’ve got plus-sizes
covered too: our jeans go all the way up to waist size 50!
