Puffer jackets and padded vests may once have been confined to the slopes, but they’ve since become popular in many wardrobes, including those of plus size men. What is the best padded coat to buy?

Padded or puffer coats are a great choice as they provide no end of insulated protection. Plus, the fact that they are intentionally on the bulkier side makes them perfect for larger men as they cleverly conceal all frames and figures and exude the idea that bigger is better. However, what type of plus size puffer is best? It all depends on the season and on your personal preferences... In the mid-season, lightweight puffer jackets with thinner padding bridge the gap between being too cold and too warm. As they're more compact, these provide increased freedom of movement and are also great to take on hiking trips and adventures! When the cold really starts to creep in though, more heavy duty puffers that provide extra warmth and that feature a protective high funnel neck take the outerwear top spot! More generally speaking, water-repellent padded jackets with a hood also make for the wisest investment as they can be adorned whatever the weather!
